Coach Education

The Coach Education programme is jointly coordinated by UP for Sport and the Department of Sport and Recreation. The Coach Education Programme is open to anyone with an interest in developing their sports coaching skills and knowledge. The programme offers a number of training opportunities to gain nationally recognised qualifications including sport specific National Governing Body awards, Sports Coach UK workshops and first aid training, all being held at the University of Portsmouth as a hub of coach development in the local area.

Our next Coach Education courses are:

* Sport Coach UK Positive Behaviour Management – Mon 23rd Jan 2012, 18.00-21.00 // £35 per person

*Sports Coach UK Safeguarding & Protecting Children – Sat 28th Jan 2012, 09.30-12.30 // £30 per person

* Emergency First Aid at Work – Sat 4th Feb 2012, 09.00-17.00 // £50 per person
